FuturLab and Mattel have announced a new Barbie DLC pack for PowerWash Simulator 2, bringing five colourful new cleaning jobs to the game later this year.
The Barbie Pack will let players clean locations inspired by some of the brand’s most recognisable playsets, including the Barbie DreamHouse and Dream Camper.
Five New Barbie-Themed Jobs
The DLC will include five new jobs, all built around the bright colours and playful designs associated with Barbie.
Players will also get access to a custom Barbie-themed power washer and character, adding plenty of pink to the usual PowerWash Simulator 2 setup.
FuturLab says the new environments have been designed around smooth plastic surfaces, embossed details and colourful textures, with plenty of references to classic Barbie toys scattered throughout.
Clean Solo or With Friends
As with the main game, the Barbie Pack can be played alone or in co-op.
The focus remains on the same relaxing cleaning gameplay, only this time players will be scrubbing down Barbie-inspired locations rather than the usual collection of muddy vehicles, buildings and unusual objects.
Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FuturLab, said the team had enjoyed putting its own spin on the world of Barbie, while Mattel described the collaboration as another way of bringing the brand into a different type of interactive experience.
The PowerWash Simulator 2 Barbie Pack will launch later this year for £6.50 / $7.99 / €7.99.
