LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 September, bringing Bruce Wayne’s brick-built adventure to Nintendo’s latest console.
Ahead of release, Warner Bros. Games has also shared a new launch trailer showing the Switch 2 version in action.
The game will support TV, handheld and tabletop modes, giving players the option to continue Bruce Wayne’s journey at home or on the go.
Pre-Orders Are Open Now
Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions are available to pre-order on Nintendo Switch 2.
Anyone who pre-orders either edition will receive an in-game Batsuit inspired by The Dark Knight Returns comic series, available from launch.
What’s Included in the Deluxe Edition?
The Nintendo Switch 2 Deluxe Edition comes with access to two DLC collections.
The Mayhem Collection includes The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, alongside a new story mission centred on their escape from Arkham Asylum.
It also introduces Mayhem Mode, which lets players cause chaos across Gotham City, as well as the Sinister Pack containing DC Super-Villain-themed outfits, Batcave items and a vehicle.
The Legacy Collection adds more suits, vehicles and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham games, the Batman Beyond animated series and a party music-themed pack.
Physical copies of the Deluxe Edition will also include a LEGO Retro Videogame Batman Minifigure while stocks last.
A New Difficulty Mode Arrives at Launch
A free update will also arrive on 18 September for all LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight players.
The update adds a new Absolute difficulty setting, designed to provide a tougher challenge than the existing Caped Crusader and Dark Knight options.
According to the announcement, Absolute difficulty will demand greater awareness, timing and precision during combat.
The update launches alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version and the Mayhem Collection DLC.
