House Flipper 2 is getting a physical Nintendo Switch 2 release this December, with the upcoming edition also including the Japanese-inspired Sakura DLC on the cartridge.
Frozen District and Silver Lining Interactive have confirmed that House Flipper 2 + Sakura DLC will launch physically for Nintendo Switch 2 on 4 December 2026. The full game and DLC will be included on the cartridge, with no additional download required to access the Sakura content.
Renovation Goes Japanese
House Flipper 2 puts players in charge of their own renovation business in the coastal town of Pinnacove, where buying, repairing and redesigning properties is all part of the job.
The included Sakura DLC expands things considerably, adding more than 600 new items inspired by Japanese architecture and interior design.
Players will be able to experiment with Japandi-style furniture, wooden features, paper sliding walls, traditional-style windows and modern Japanese bathrooms. The DLC also introduces Akamatsu Valley, a new area set against a springtime Mount Fuji backdrop.
Build, Renovate and Share
Alongside its story-based renovation jobs, House Flipper 2 includes a Sandbox Mode for players who would rather start building from scratch.
Custom creations can be shared with the community, while mod.io support will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2 from launch, opening the door to community-made content and mods.

- The full House Flipper 2 game
- The complete Sakura DLC
- More than 600 Japanese-inspired furniture and decoration items
- The new Akamatsu Valley location
- Traditional paper walls, sliding windows and Japanese-style bathroom options
- Sandbox Mode and community sharing

Frozen District has also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will receive future game updates at the same time as other platforms.
