tinyBuild and Mandragora have launched ReStory on Steam today, 6 August 2026. The relaxing electronics repair shop simulator costs $19.99, with a limited-time 10% launch discount also available.
Set in mid-2000s Tokyo, ReStory lets players restore nostalgic gadgets while running and decorating their own repair workshop. It has already collected more than 700,000 Steam wishlists, while its Steam Next Fest demo reached the top 50 most-played demos and earned a 96% positive rating.

Developed by the team behind I Am Future, ReStory combines electronics restoration with shop management and narrative choices.

However, keeping the workshop running involves more than waving a screwdriver around. You will also need to manage your finances, decorate the shop and browse a wonderfully dated Y2K-style internet for spare parts.

ReStory includes both in-person and online repair orders, along with unique conversations and replayable story paths. It all comes wrapped in a relaxed depiction of urban life in Japan.
