Gunstoppable is available now on PC via Steam, bringing wall-running, grapple hooks and billionaire-bashing chaos to the roguelite FPS crowd.
The high-velocity boomer shooter comes from CAGE Studios, led by a former God of War developer. An Xbox release will follow on 31 August 2026.
Players step into the boots of an elite soldier live streaming a revenge spree to millions. The targets include wealthy warmongers, capitalist goons, mechanical crabs and, apparently, nepo babies.
Just another quiet day on the internet.
Gunstoppable Turns Movement Into a Weapon
Gunstoppable drops players into cyberpunk cities, underwater hideouts and the emptier corners of space. Each location is packed with enemies, bullets and plenty of opportunities to build momentum.
Players can grapple across arenas, run along walls and grind on rails while dodging bullet-hell attacks. Incoming strikes can also be parried, opening the door for brutal counterattacks.
Speed sits at the heart of the experience. However, standing still probably remains an option for anyone eager to become futuristic Swiss cheese.
The game also supports dual-wielding, with weapons ranging from pistols and flamethrowers to crossbows, katanas and black holes. Players can combine them with 14 attachments and 24 augments to create increasingly ridiculous power-up combinations.

Every Failed Run Fuels the Next Rampage
As a roguelite FPS, Gunstoppable turns each failed run into another chance to improve. Players can dodge faster, experiment with new builds and find more effective ways to dismantle each regime.
As per the press release, the fully voiced story follows the soldier’s campaign against the wealthy figures watching the world collapse from their heavily defended lairs.
The cast includes Gianni Matragano, known for ULTRAKILL, alongside content creator NeekoLul and several other performers.
“Gunstoppable wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of my community,” said CAGE Studios co-founder Salaar Kohari.
“Today’s launch is the culmination of years of development, showing Gunstoppable at events, and addressing feedback to create a momentum-based shooter that all FPS fans can get hooked on.”
Gunstoppable is available now on PC via Steam for $9.99, with a 20% launch discount. It will arrive on Xbox consoles on 31 August 2026.
At launch, the game supports English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, German, French, Italian, Turkish and Korean.
