Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, a new management sim based on the ONE PIECE anime franchise. It is setting sail on 23rd October 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, and mobile platforms.
As per the press release, ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet stars the Straw Hat Crew and Sanji, with players running a new floating restaurant called the Baratie Number Two. Because apparently saving the world is all well and good, but someone still needs to sort the menu.
The game features more than 400 ONE PIECE characters, all presented in a new game-inspired pixel art style. Friends, foes, and probably a few absolute disasters at the dinner table can appear as staff and customers.
ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet serves up a Straw Hat management sim
In ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, players join Sanji to build and manage the greatest floating restaurant the ocean has ever seen. That means cooking dishes, gathering ingredients, creating set menus, and decorating the interior to keep customers coming back.
Players will serve familiar faces from across the ONE PIECE world, with character events and special interactions that cannot be found anywhere else. The press release also notes that even enemies can become part of the restaurant rush, so keep the plates ready and maybe hide the sharp cutlery.
Food is a major focus, naturally. Players can get recipe ideas from characters, choose ingredients, and work with Sanji to cook dishes inspired by the series. Confirmed examples include Water-Water Meat BBQ and Sea King Penne Gorgonzola, alongside special creations based on the powers of Devil Fruits.
Decorate the Baratie Number Two with over 200 items
Running a memorable restaurant is not just about the food. ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet also lets players decorate the Baratie Number Two with more than 200 decorative items.
These include dessert-themed pieces inspired by Whole Cake Island and futuristic items based on Egghead. Better yet, characters may become regulars if they like the restaurant’s design. So yes, interior design could be the difference between a quiet service and a full-on pirate stampede.
With its management sim setup, huge character roster, and Sanji-led kitchen chaos, ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet sounds like a breezy new way to enjoy the world of ONE PIECE. It launches on 23rd October 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, and mobile platforms.
