Anime RPG fans can get stuck in sooner than expected, because The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now live early on PlayStation 5 and Steam.

As per the press release, Netmarble has opened access on both platforms from 5pm UTC on 16 March 2026, giving players a head start before the wider grand launch on 23 March, when the game expands across all supported platforms including mobile.

PS5 and Steam players can jump in now

With the early release now live, players on PS5 and Steam can step into the role of Tristan and begin exploring Britannia straight away.

The story drops players into a world thrown into chaos by the collision of time and space, which is a fairly rude thing for reality to do.

Solo play or co-op with up to five players

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin can be played solo, but it also supports cooperative play.

According to the press release, players can team up with up to five players in total, including the host, for a shared adventure across Britannia.

Mobile version lands on 23 March

The game’s mobile release is set for 23 March 2026, bringing the experience to more players across all supported devices.

Ahead of that date, players can pre-register on Google Play, the App Store, and the official website.

Pre-registration rewards include Tioreh and bonus gear

Players who pre-register ahead of the mobile launch will receive a batch of in-game rewards.

These include a guaranteed character, Tioreh, along with draw tickets, the weapon Skyborne Gale Dual Swords, and other bonuses.

Social media event is live now

Netmarble is also running a social media event to mark the early release on PS5 and Steam.

Fans can join in through the game’s official social channels, with reward details available on platforms including Facebook and X.

What kind of game is The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin?

Based on the popular The Seven Deadly Sins manga and anime IP, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is a new anime open-world RPG set in Britannia.

The game features tag-based combat, combination skills, and customisable teams built from a range of characters and weapons.

There is also a multiplayer angle, with players able to form parties for exploration or team up to take down bosses together.

A head start before the full rollout

So, if you have been waiting to dive into The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, the wait is already over on PS5 and Steam.

Mobile players still have a few days to go, but with pre-registration rewards and the full cross-platform rollout arriving on 23 March, Netmarble is clearly not easing into launch week quietly.
