Sir Solomon is ditching his mates, storming a demon castle, and risking it all for love. What could possibly go wrong?
Lovish Gets a Release Date (and a Very Silly Trailer)
The pixel-powered chaos of Lovish officially drops February 5, 2026, developer LABS Works and publisher DANGEN Entertainment have announced. The game will hit Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, Humble, and itch.io.
From the mind of Matt Kap (Astalon, Castle in the Darkness), Lovish blends 8-bit action, weird humour, and bite-sized chaos into one glorious quest through the Devil Lord’s castle. The freshly dropped Release Date Trailer gives a taste of the madness: monster slicing, room-clearing, and Solomon’s slightly unhinged mission to win Princess Tsuna’s heart… before someone else does.

No Friends Allowed: The Lovish Pitch
Here’s the setup: Sir Solomon and his heroic crew are all set to rescue Princess Tsuna from the evil Devil Lord. But Solomon, gripped by romantic panic, bails on his friends to go solo—because what if Tsuna falls for one of them instead?
Cue a one-knight rescue mission through 50+ levels filled with monsters, loot, and the kind of random event scenes where literally anything might happen—RPG fights, weird guest characters, total world destruction… you name it.
Features Worth Fighting For
- 50+ handcrafted levels with extra objectives
- Hundreds of randomised event scenes – never the same twice
- Upgrade items that affect gameplay (and sometimes don’t)
- No microtransactions – your in-game pennies stay in-game
- Over 100 characters, including designs from Ryusuke Mita (Dragon Half)
- Original soundtrack by Matt Kap with 20+ bangers
- All pixel art drawn by actual humans – even the fake AI bits
- And of course… loads of secrets. Maybe even too many.
Lovish drops February 5. Until then, sharpen your pixel-sword and embrace the chaos – true love awaits. Maybe.
