Explore a Region Torn by Rot
Welcome to Fellhollow, a misty, decaying new area that sits between life and death. Guided by Death (yep, the guy himself), you’ll brave cursed forests, haunted ruins, and all the rotten beauty the Wither Rot can muster. It’s not just grim vibes either—there’s real survival challenge here.
Corruption changes everything. New Soul Rift mechanics mean the more you’re exposed to Wither Rot, the more twisted (or powerful) things get. Harness it and unlock Rift Sight to reveal hidden paths—or risk catching Imaru’s Gaze, which might catch the attention of something… hungrier.
Face Off Against Imaru, the Soul Eater
Fellhollow’s apex predator is no pushover. Once a noble dragon guardian, Imaru has been warped by grief into a soul-hungry beast. You’ll square off in a multi-phase boss encounter that continues the Kuldra Saga in dramatic, death-defying fashion.
Farming and Mounts Make Their Dragonwilds Debut
Also landing with this update: the long-awaited Farming Skill, freshly reimagined for RuneScape: Dragonwilds. It’s a little bit of old-school RuneScape magic, mixed with sorcery and survival.
And to help you roam in style, the game now has mounts—starting with the Terrorbird, unlockable via a special Fellhollow questline. Yes, it’s as weirdly wonderful as it sounds.
