Claw machines, romance disasters, and frantic roguelike chaos? Must be Cupiclaw, and it’s just dropped a shiny new Steam demo.

Love, Loss, and Claw Machines

Our unlucky lad Morris has lost his engagement ring, can’t afford another, and has somehow decided the best solution is to gamble his future happiness on an arcade claw machine. Naturally, this means you’ll be battling through chaotic floors of grabby machines, hoarding prizes, and clawing your way to the top.

What’s New in the Demo

The devs at Typin have been busy polishing those claws. Here’s what’s fresh:

Major tweaks:

  • Brand new upgrade system between floors
  • New prizes and a whole new machine to fight with
  • A shiny new key system
  • Extra difficulty mode
  • Unlockable prizes
  • Fresh translations in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean

Smaller but tasty tweaks:

  • Autosaves (finally)
  • Confirmation screens so you can rethink those prize picks
  • Rebalanced timers, costs, and values
  • A slicker collection view and prize removal flow
  • Morris’ actual hands on-screen (toggle if you’re squeamish)
  • UI glow-up, better VFX, and a new stats menu

Show Time

Cupiclaw isn’t just clawing through Steam—it’s also rocking up at the BIG (Best Indie Games) Showcase and making a real-life appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Expect a new trailer and plenty of indie goodness.

So if you fancy clawing your way through chaos and heartbreak, you can grab the demo right now on Steam.
