Fans of roguelike deckbuilders, get ready: Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage is bringing strategic card combat back to the high seas. Fabled Game has revealed a fresh gameplay trailer just in time for Steam Next Fest 2025, running from June 9-16, with a playable demo ready to explore.
According to the official press release, the Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage demo will drop players into the Pirates Bay region, where you’ll step into the botts of Hero Gabi. With three classes to master, three animal companions, and over 150 cards plus 50 relics to experiment with, there’s plenty of depth for returning fans and new players. Oh, and there are 25 unlockable cosmetics, because looking like a legendary pirate is half the fun.
This sequel to the popular indie game Pirates Outlaws continues the adventure in New Elysia. You’ll pick your hero, class ability, and starting deck before launching into a roguelike expedition full of strategic card battles, deckbuilding mechanics, and encounters with massive sea creatures.
