Ubisoft and Laced Records are back with another beautiful vinyl release, this time celebrating the music of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Pre-orders are now open for the limited edition 4LP box set and three standalone albums, all featuring original music inspired by the game’s dual protagonists.
The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Soundtrack Collection includes:
- 2LP Original Score by The Flight
- 1LP ‘Kage No Iro’ by Japanese-Canadian psych-rock band TEKE::TEKE, focused on Naoe
- 1LP ‘UKOMBOZI’ by Thunderdrum ft. Tiggs Da Author, focused on Yasuke
Each record has been specially mastered for vinyl and pressed on translucent red and black splatter discs (for the box set version). The full box set is exclusive to Laced Records, but all three albums can also be bought separately with their own limited edition variants.
More About the Music:
- The Original Score mixes Japanese instruments like tsuchibue and shamisen with modern orchestral and electronic elements. The Flight returned with top-tier collaborators to build a soundscape both ancient and futuristic.
- ‘Kage No Iro’ sees TEKE::TEKE riff on iconic AC themes with a surf-rock twist and a touch of Tarantino flair, capturing Naoe’s shinobi path.
- ‘UKOMBOZI’ fuses East African rhythms, Ennio Morricone vibes, and Japanese flutes, with Swahili vocals from Tiggs Da Author leading Yaskue’s powerful musical arc.
