So after what feels like an eternity of silence, CDPR gave us a nice big stream yesterday detailing a whole bunch of changes to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 as well as “surprise” dropping the next gen version we have waited so long for.
So straight onto the PS5 I went downloading the new and improved Cyberpunk 2077 ready to be stung all over again and disappointed by one of the games I spent the best part of a decade being hyped as hell for… however after around 8 hours in the title (yeah I binged it and what this is the furthest I ever got) I am so happy to report that as of writing I have yet to experience a bug that pulls me from the immersion of the game

In terms of bugs there’s still the odd one where I see someone’s hair go a bit funky and glitch through walls but these bugs I can happily deal with and almost expected to see from a 60gb game update.
There is loads of additional things that have been added to Cyberpunk (new houses, better character interactions, better combat etc) Nothing to set the world alight in a new game but a welcome change here!
One of the first things I enjoyed when playing through the early hours of the game was the steady 60fps that treated my eyeballs with such an enhanced smoothness that everything felt new, fresh and exciting like when I initially loaded the game up over a year ago – however, the big difference to this is that when I played more of the game I wasn’t met with crushing disappointment as all of this broke or I fell through a map, instead I was able to just enjoy the game and fulfil my Cyberpunk dreams of being a streetkid with sword arms carving my way through the world as a violent bastard.

Finally I was able to see Keanu Reeves in all his glory and experience a story that I am fascinated by and so engrossed in I might even delay my order of Horizon Forbidden West in order to keep plugging away at this title.
I know there are a lot of naysayers out there still saying that we don’t yet have the game that was promised, but for me this is such a huge step in the right direction that I am incredibly excited to see what else this world has in store for me.
Are you going to dive back in? or has it been too long with too many burns that you will not go near it now. Let me know in the comments below
