Adorable Adventures is the latest cosy game to wander onto the scene, launching on 30th April 2026. Developed by Wild Sheep Studio and published by PQube, it follows Boris, a tiny boar who finds himself lost in a park after being separated from his family.

His mission is simple: follow his nose, track down familiar scents, and reunite with his mum and siblings. Of course, that is easier said than done when there is a whole park full of secrets, treasures, events, and distractions waiting to be discovered.

From digging up odd items to collecting plants, customising Boris, taking part in races, and snapping photos, Adorable Adventures packs a surprising amount into its small package. But does this little boar manage to stand out in the ever-growing cosy game genre, or does he get lost in the crowd? Pop the kettle on and let’s dig in.

Great Adventures Come In Small Packages

When we first meet Boris, he has been separated from his family after a fire in the local wildlife park. After a few charming introductions from the narrator, we are given the mammoth task of bringing the family back together.

The main way you do this is through the scent mechanic. Boris can follow different smells across the park, leading him to key objectives, collectables, and hidden items. At first, this can feel a little overwhelming. There are a lot of scents to discover, and the world quickly fills up with things to track down.

Thankfully, once you have completed certain item sets, you can disable those scents. This makes it much easier to focus on the important ones, especially when you are trying to push on with the story or find family members.

What really stands out is the sheer variety of items hidden around the world. You will dig up flowers, mushrooms, tins of beans, truffles, toys, and all sorts of strange little treasures. Some are funny, some are fitting for a boar, and some are just wonderfully odd. It is clear the developers had a lot of fun filling the park with things to find.

Who Said Boars Weren’t Cute?

It does not take long before you stop chasing the main objective and start hunting down scents just to complete item sets. A big reason for that is the cosmetic system.

Finding items unlocks new ways to customise Boris. A tin of beans might give you a hat, while honey could unlock a back attachment. The range of outfits and accessories is genuinely impressive, and the creativity behind them deserves praise. As someone who has always enjoyed cosmetic options in games, I found this side of Adorable Adventures incredibly satisfying.

The visual style also helps sell the whole experience. The game is bright, charming, and full of personality. Each area of the park feels distinct, with plenty of hidden corners, puzzle spots, photo opportunities, and little surprises tucked away.

There is always something pulling you just a little further forward. Whether it is a new scent, a strange object, or a small activity around the corner, the game does a great job of making you want to keep exploring. It is the kind of cosy adventure that makes it surprisingly hard to put the controller down.

Stop Being Such A Boar

The narrator is a big part of the game’s charm. They accompany you through most of the adventure, adding little jokes, gentle guidance, and bits of story as Boris continues his search.

Whether you are finding Boris’ favourite duck toy or being softly nudged towards the next objective, the narration adds a lovely extra layer to the experience. Combined with the game’s warm soundtrack, it helps create a relaxed and inviting tone throughout.

The soundtrack also shifts nicely between different zones, giving each area its own feel without ever becoming distracting. For a small indie title, the amount of content and detail here is genuinely impressive.

What surprised me most was how full the game feels. There is a lot to collect, explore, unlock, and enjoy, yet it never feels bloated. It knows exactly what kind of experience it wants to be, and it delivers that with confidence. For a cosy game, that is exactly what you want.

Final Thoughts

Adorable Adventures has been a real hidden gem for me. Between the charming narrator, lovely visuals, strong sense of exploration, and huge range of collectables and cosmetics, it delivers a cosy experience that feels both relaxing and rewarding.

It is also impressive how much has been packed into a game that is less than 4GB. There is a real sense of care here, from the environmental detail to the funny item choices and creative customisation options.

If you enjoy cosy adventures, light exploration, collectables, and games with a lot of heart, Adorable Adventures is absolutely worth checking out.
