Earlier today, the official Devil May Cry 5 twitter account thanked Xbox One users who had downloaded the now unavailable game demo, before announcing that yet another demo for the upcoming title will be released on February 7th, for both Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The previous demo – available only to Xbox One users, and also featured at some conventions – featured gameplay of the character Nero, and allowed players to go through a section of the game before ending with a battle against in-game boss, Goliath. The upcoming demo will be entirely different, although no-one is yet sure what gameplay or characters will be featured.

Games having multiple demos is unusual, so the announcement came as an unexpected – but a pleasant – surprise to fans. Considering the title has three central protagonists, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to suspect that we may even end up with three separate demos for the title before its launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC this March 8th.

The official trailer for the game may be found below.
