Space station simulator Stable Orbit gets graphical overhaul in Vector update!

Green Man Gaming Publishing and Codalyn are pleased to announce the release of the Vector update for Stable Orbit, a realistic space station simulation game currently in Early Access. The update overhauls the art in the game to a near final state, and adds further gameplay features.

“The main focus of this update is to bring the art of Stable Orbit up to near final quality by removing most of the placeholder graphics and introducing a more detailed design for the modules,” said Stable Orbit developer Jim Offerman.

The Vector update also introduces a number of new gameplay elements and improvements, including:

  • New Node modules, allowing you to build pressurized connections between crew modules and laboratories
  • Severe damage or loss of power will now cause Habitat modules to become unusable, marooning the crew that was stationed there and reducing their productivity
  • New graphic performance options
  • Further UI improvements

The full patch notes can be found on the Stable Orbit development blog.
