Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Red Barrels Enter Worldwide Retail Distribution Agreement for Outlast Trinity

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Red Barrels today announced a worldwide distribution agreement for Outlast Trinity, a physical bundle that packages the upcoming Outlast 2 with Outlast and Outlast Whistleblower downloadable content. Outlast Trinity will be available in the UK on the 28th of April for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC, the same day Outlast 2 launches on digital platforms worldwide.

“Red Barrels has made a name for itself in the survival horror genre with the original Outlast game,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice President, Sales, Americas, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. “We look forward to working closely with this great group of developers to bring Outlast Trinity to gamers around the world.”

“We’ve been lucky to have such an amazing fan base, and none of this would have been possible without their support,” said Co-Founder Philippe Morin, Red Barrels. “Ever since we released Outlast in 2013, a physical version has been one of the top requests, so we’re obviously thrilled to finally give people the entire series in one bundle of terror.”

The sequel to the original critically acclaimed game, Outlast 2 is a twisted new journey into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets. Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with his wife Lynn, must take risks and dig deep to uncover the stories no one else will dare touch. As the two follow a trail of clues that started with the seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman known only as Jane Doe, the investigation leads them miles into the Arizona desert to a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.

The original Outlast game released in 2013 and takes place in the remote mountains of Colorado where horrors wait inside Mount Massive Asylum. A long abandoned home for the mentally ill, Mount Massive Asylum was recently re-opened by the “research and charity” branch of the transnational Murkoff Corporation, and has been operating in strict secrecy. Acting on a tip from an anonymous source, independent journalist Miles Upshur breaks into the facility and what he discovers walks a terrifying line between science, religion, nature and something else entirely. Once inside, his only hope of escape lies with the terrible truth at the heart of Mount Massive.

Outlast Whistleblower is DLC that tells the story before and after the events of Outlast to show the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum’s story. Players take on the role of Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff, who identifies with the poor souls housed in the facility. Fuelled by his anger, the stage is set for the unmasking of Mount Massive’s rotten core.

Infektor comes to Steam on March 6th 2017!

Highly contagious indie game Infektor unleashed onto Steam users.

Rushing Vise is happy to announce that their first game, Infektor, is now available on Steam for Windows and Mac OS X. The game has modest hardware requirements and can be controlled using a game controller, mouse or keyboard.

About the game

Infektor is a fast-paced arcade action game that puts players in control of a microbe that found itself in a hostile environment. Quick reflexes and smart use of environment are all that matters in this hectic game of cat and mouse.

Survive as long as possible in Survival mode or spread infection in Infect mode. It’s all about surviving, wreaking havoc and scoring points. And Infektor makes it easy by being designed for quick gameplay sessions. Just fire it up for a few minutes to blow off some steam.

Players have three microbes to choose from, each with its own characteristics and unique special ability. And mutagens allow to tweak the microbes to better match player’s play style or to particular needs of a specific level.

About Rushing Vise

Rushing Vise was born when two guys decided it would be a good idea to create a game together. That game was Infektor, which originally existed as a prototype developed many years ago just for fun. The goal was to make a simple, intense arcade action experience that players could get into for their 5 minutes of entertainment. Soon enough, when it became obvious that none of the two devs could draw, our team grew to three people.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Delayed Until April 25, 2017

CI Games, creators of the Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen series of games, has announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be delayed until Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

After some internal discussion with the development team, a decision was made to delay the release three more weeks to complete some final implementations based on feedback CI Games received during the beta.

“We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series,” said said Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games. “While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it.”

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 tells the story of brotherhood, faith and betrayal in the most complete sniper experience ever. Take the role of an American sniper named Jonathan North, who is dropped into enemy territory in northern Georgia, nearby Russian borders. Explore large open-world maps with dynamic weather and a day and night cycle that actually impacts play and decisions. Customize weapon equipment, accessories, vehicles and a drone, and utilize the three pillars of gameplay to your liking: Sniper, Ghost and Warrior.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 launches on the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and Windows PC on April 25, 2017.

ALASKA pre-alpha trailer released from Wreck Tangle Games!

The one man indie developer behind ‘Wreck Tangle Games’, Adam Reed, has released a pre-alpha teaser trailer, photos and a fantastic website for his new game currently in development, ALASKA. An action adventure with hints of a crime thriller.

The trailer shows a real Alaskan-esque landscape, packed full of trees, snow and mountainscapes, you hear a scream in the distance, beyond the forest, who is it? She sounds in distress, you rush passed the trees to find a gloomy looking house, inside you find the answer to the screams, you notice red droplets sparkling on the floor as you walk into your bedroom. The bed sheets are soaked in blood, you hear cries as the title of the game appears, ALASKA. It really is a great introduction to the new game and does what it set out to do, tease you without giving too much away. You can see it’s going to be a murder mystery, but not too much beyond that. The graphics are looking nice and it’s only in pre-pre-alpha, so hopefully in a coming update we will see beautiful sprawling landscapes to add some extra realness to the game.

The photos show similar shots to the video, some extra pictures of the houses in the game, a river, boat and bridges, it is looking really nice. The star of the reveal I would say though is the website, it has the trailer and photos on there presented in a real beautiful way. The photos are on a desk, you can sort through them, move them, spin them and zoom in on them, its a different way of showing off them and I am fan of it. The website also gives an “About” section which really introduces the game. It states “The game is to give players a day in the life of an Alaskan man who lives in a small town high up in the mountains. The town consists of 5 families, living in their own way, providing for themselves and for their neighbours. They all skate together on frozen lakes, fish together on the river, eat each others hunting trophies and enjoy each others company.. But their day to day life is about to change, when a body is discovered, murdered on the town’s airstrip… Who do you trust now?” I find these details exciting, this really sounds like a murder mystery with a deep personal story. All in all, I find myself intrigued by this game, and I truly can’t wait find out more.

Pixel Glory: Light and Shadow is the standalone sequel to Pixel Glory and is meant to be the definitive introduction to the series. In Pixel Glory, players each play a wizard out on a quest to save the village from the monsters that inhabit the nearby dungeon. In the first phase of the game, players will master various elemental spells by drafting them through a unique auction-drafting mechanic.

Once ready, they will enter the dungeon phase, where they will be using these spells to battle the most unimaginable of foes. However, the quest, while seemingly honorable, is one that they partake purely for personal gain. In reality, theyre self-serving wizards only out to gain the admiration of the townsfolk. Not only do they have to survive the dungeon, they must use their spells wisely to outmaneuver their fellow wizards as only the one that deals the last hit on these monsters will reap the fame and the glory.

The new game adds two new elements, light and shadow, along with new spells and monsters. The dungeon phase of the game has been completely revamped, bringing in the threat of being eliminated from the game when players lose all their health. Cooperative, hidden traitor, solo, and two versus two game modes have also been added in addition to the classic competitive mode.

Zafty Games is a tabletop game publisher with a steadily growing portfolio which includes games such as Pixel Glory, Pixel Glory: Light and Shadow, Gingerdead House, and Death Wish.
