Minit Sets Off For Adventure, Sixty Seconds at a Time!

Independent game label Devolver Digital have announced Minit, a lo-fi adventure from Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio & Dominik Johann. Minit will be playable at this weekend’s PAX South (January 27 – 29) and release on PC and (maybe.. maybe.. probably yes) on consoles in 2017.

Minit is a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse that ends each day after just one minute.

“The Devolver Digital Monetisation Department are working on in-app purchases for Minit that will allow players to pay a dollar or watch an hour of advertisements to extend each life one more second,” noted Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker. “Stay tuned for this and other great ways to frivolously spend more money you probably don’t have in Devolver Digital games you might never actually play.”

Slash, Parry, Dodge, Lunge, Block! Quick-thinking and nimble-fingered players will test their skills as a loyal and mission-driven samurai in “Bushido Saga: Nightmare of the Samurai” a thrilling F2P mobile action-adventure game by Pandora Game Studio.

Not for the average lazy screen-tapping gamer, “Bushido Saga: Nightmare of the Samurai” is a free-to-play mobile action-adventure game set in 1700s Japan and based on the treasured historical Legend of the 47 Ronin. It requires skill, quick reflexes and an honorable soul to be played. Combat sequences are innovative due to their fluid and dynamic gameplay, based on a swipe and tap series of commands that unlock powerful fighting maneuvers. You must use your tactical mind so as to size up your enemies, find their weak spots, and deliver the most punishing blows. A wrong move may cost you your life.

You play with Oishi, a loyal samurai who serves the Asano clan and has been plagued with bizarre and vivid nightmares. In these horrid dreams, you fail to protect your lord while he is killed by a shadowy creature right before your eyes. So as to prevent this fate from befalling your master, you embark on a journey to eliminate his enemies. The way will be fraught with danger, but your honor and sense of duty demand you prevail at all costs.

Overwatch: Year of the Rooster Event now LIVE!

Grab your family, friends, and loved ones and get ready to ring in the Year of the RoosterOverwatch’s Lunar New Year celebrations have begun and we hope this seasonal event brings you happiness, prosperity, and (most importantly) lots of fun. For the next three weeks, players will have the chance to collect over 100 themed cosmetic items, enjoy a firefight beneath some fireworks on Lijiang Tower, and work together to capture the flag in Overwatch’s newest brawl mode.

Starting today, all in-game Loot Boxes have been replaced with our special Lunar Loot Boxes—and they’re packed with one heck of a (primal) punch, including new skins like Palanquin D.Va and Wukong Winston! As with previous events, Lunar Loot Boxes can be earned or purchased, and each will contain at least one item from our Year of the Rooster collection—including profile icons, sprays, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros, skins, and more. While the contents of each seasonal Loot Box are random, you can unlock a variety of these customisation options in the Hero Gallery throughout the event’s duration. Once you’ve unlocked an item, it will be yours forever, which means you can celebrate the Year of the Rooster all year-round. The collection will return to the vault on February 13, however, so be sure to fire up your favourite gaming machine and see what good fortune might await before it’s too late!

No event would be complete without a first-class brawl, and for the Year of the Rooster we took a cue from tradition and are introducing an Overwatch take on a true competitive gaming staple: Capture the Flag. In Capture the Rooster, teams will face off on Lijiang Tower, attempting to secure the enemy flag while the opposing team does the same. In this fast-paced brawl, players will need to get creative with their team compositions as they attempt construct a lineup that’s  built for offensive speed and defensive stability.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Rave in the Redwoods trailer

After escaping the terrifying Zombies in Spaceland, our heroes are transported to an abandoned campground… the perfect site for Willard Wyler’s next horror masterpiece. Set in the ‘90s, the four actors find themselves in brand new roles, along with some fresh new threads.

Together, they’ll team up to take on endless hordes of raver zombies and the mysterious Slasher, who’s on the prowl to add more “trophies” to his collection. With the help of some brutal new weapons and even director Kevin Smith (!), our heroes just might be able to put an end to the madness in the Redwoods.

Rave in the Redwoods arrives first on PlayStation 4 on 31st January 2017 in the Sabotage DLC pack.
