KOEI TECMO AMERICA Details exciting Online Features of TOUKIDEN 2
KOEI TECMO America detailed today exciting online features, an expansive character creation system and new foes for the upcoming sequel to the popular demon-hunting RPG, Toukiden. Toukiden 2 is slated to release on March 21, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and digitally on Windows PC via Steam. A brand new trailer released today showcases the game’s extensive online features, and fresh screenshots reintroduce returning Holy Mount members Hatsuho, Soma and Kuyo, as well as new additions Shiki and Raizo alongside a myriad of the brand-new, soul-devouring Oni.
Toukiden 2 offers a rich online environment in which Slayers can team up to take on the ferocious demons known as Oni. Slayers will find mysterious Portal Stones scattered throughout the Otherworld, which, when touched, will transport them to the multiplayer lobby. Accepting missions at the Command Hub will allow up to four players to take on Oni throughout the Ages, granting them the upper-hand in battle with well-coordinated teamwork. Multiplayer features can be enjoyed on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita system versions, with local ad-hoc network multiplayer available for PlayStation Vita users. Each Slayer can make themselves unique by utilizing the game’s vast character creation system, which boasts a wide variety of different visual styles never previously available in the Toukiden series.
Online multiplayer mode aside, the campaign experience has also been heavily enhanced for Toukiden 2. Apart from the main storyline missions delivered from the Holy Mount, players can explore an immense open world and encounter other Slayers for cooperative Joint Operations. By aiding those in need a variety of rewards become available in the form of weaponry, armor and new Mitama, as well the opportunity to form a party! Those playing offline can carry out Joint Operations by meeting Doppelgangers, the Ghost Data of their friends, which offer the same functionality as human companions.
While carrying out these operations in the Otherworld, Slayers may find it useful to exchange equipment to even the odds against tough opponents. Accessing the Reliquaries – containers for sacred relics – across the world will allow them to place items inside for retrieval by other Slayers. Donating items into a Reliquary not only aids fellow players, but returns an item of equal value! This new feature to the hunting-action genre allows Slayers to unite and aid each other in a way which was never previously possible.
The new additions in Toukiden 2 don’t stop there! The game’s boundless battlefield hosts a plethora of new Oni inspired by western lore. The Drakwing, a beast resembling a legendary dragon, the Canidaemon, a wolf-like creature which harnesses the power of wind and lighting in its tail, the Wingspawn, an Oni which breaths deadly poison which turns humans into demons and the Bruteclaw, a heavily armored six-legged demon are only a few of the new enemies that plague the Ages.
Finally, pre-order bonuses are available from select retailers before launch, including the Tenko Costume armor, which allows Slayers to dress up as their fluffy partners, and the Sanada Masayuki, Sanada Nobuyuki, Sarutobi Sasuke and Chiku Rin In Mitama help bolster player’s skills and abilities, aiding them on their Oni-slaying adventures!

GAMBITIOUS DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT to Publish Wild Factor’s Evil Mansion Management and Strategy Game MachiaVillain on PC
Gambitious Digital Entertainment has announced it will publish MachiaVillain, the evil mansion management and strategy game from independent developer Wild Factor. Inspired by classic gaming experiences like Dungeon Keeper and the tropes of horror cinema, this insidious title is expected to arrive this autumn on Windows PC, Mac and Linux.
MachiaVillain challenges players to build their own mansions up from harmless houses to nightmarish palaces of terrors. Lure locals inside, set deadly traps or let your minions feast on their flesh. But beware – even horror movie monsters have a code to honour. To become the scariest neighbourhood menace, you’ll have to slay by the rules… target victims when they’re alone, keep the virgin alive until the end, and never, ever hurt the dog.
Assemble and manage a menagerie of monstrous minions, balancing their unique traits, needs and fighting styles, then customize the mansion to make them feel at home. Players can use resources from the environment and leftover body parts from dismembering to craft new items to help keep the manor safe from supernatural creatures and monster hunters who would threaten to topple their gruesome ascent to glory.

Earn the Dragon Throne in Europa Universalis IV: Mandate of Heaven
Dynasties come and dynasties go, but China is eternal. An unbroken chain stretches through the millennia, and now this mantle lies on your shoulders. Rest secure in the Forbidden City, husbanding your power for the storms you know are coming. Your neighbors will kowtow and bring tribute to your palace. Does anyone dare challenge you, the heir to the Mandate of Heaven?
Mandate of Heaven is the newest expansion to Europa Universalis IV, the renowned historical grand-strategy game from Paradox Development Studio. Mandate of Heaven enhances the game experience for playing the major nations of East Asia, especially Ming China, Japan, and the Manchu tribes.
One of the centerpieces of Mandate of Heaven is managing the Celestial Empire, similar to how the Holy Roman Empire has been handled in Europa Universalis IV. Increase the power of your mandate by commanding tribute, then use your mandate to reform the imperial system, strengthening your grip on the Middle Kingdom and the continent as a whole. Embrace the meritocracy of China’s civil service to pass decrees that meet your empire’s immediate needs. Can you hold off challengers to your claim?
Mandate of Heaven’s features include:
- Ages and Golden Eras: Earn perks in four historical ages for meeting specific goals, building up to declaring your nation’s single Golden Era – 50 years of prosperity and power.
- Meritocracy: The Chinese emperor can hire good advisors more cheaply, keeping the empire functional no matter who rules.
- Tributaries: Some Asian nations can demand that weaker powers pay an annual tribute, whether in gold, manpower or monarch points.
- Manchu Banners: Manchu provinces can provide cheap and effective Banner armies drawn from the traditional tribe system.
- Japanese Shogunate: Compel the loyalty of your daimyos with new interactions that require them to submit to your authority, contribute to your power or even commit seppuku
- Diplomatic Macrobuilder: Common diplomatic actions are now easily available from the macrobuilder interface.
- New Events and Decisions: Most of these new systems are connected to new event series or decisions, enhancing your historical immersion.
Mandate of Heaven will also ship alongside new Content Packs fitting the theme of the expansion, with new unit designs for many of the East Asian powers and other updated army models.
Europa Universalis IV: Mandate of Heaven will available soon on Steam and at the Paradox Store.

Story
After his childhood friend’s parents are stricken with the plague, Albert meets one Dr. Moreau, and agrees to participate in a trial experiment for the promise of a potential cure. However, when the experiment itself proves to be a facade for turning humans into revenants and the Rystorian Order suddenly intervenes, Albert is left with the soul of a demon inside him vying for control of his body. Realizing the same mad scientist who tricked him is also responsible for his childhood friend’s death and many others close to him, he sets out on a journey alone to exact revenge on the man who ruined his life…
However, after crossing paths with revenant hunter slash potential valkyrie, Esther, and being pushed into joining her cause, Albert begins to seriously wonder if or how long he will be able to keep his secret from his new companion. To make matters worse, she has been endowed with the very powers capable of vanquishing those like him!
Who will it be that saves mankind?
Albert, a conflicted young man possessed by a demon, yet trying to live his life as an ordinary human? Or Esther, a young woman who has seen Rystoria in vision, and possesses holy powers? Find out as the many bumps and mountains their journey takes them over begin to unravel the truth!
Stunning 3D Battles
Smooth controls and a fluid camera make 3D battles in Revenant Saga stress free and perfect for mobile devices! In addition, powerful skills with brilliant effects enhance the gaming experience like never before! And with auto and semi-auto functions, battles are as simple as the touch of a button!
Transform and Lay Waste to the Enemy
Transforming in battle morphs characters into more powerful beings. While in this state, damage dealt increases, damage received decreases, and new, powerful skills become available. The crux of this, however, is the inability to restore HP or revive a swoon party member. This makes it critical to monitor HP at all times and untransform if necessary.
Supported Platforms
Windows, Mac OS X systems (Please visit the store page to see the system requirements.)
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III – Environment Showcase
As we gear up towards the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, SEGA Europe Ltd. and Relic Entertainment invite you to experience a few of the mysterious locations that players will visit in the highly anticipated third instalment of the RTS franchise.
Over the course of development, the Dawn of War team has focused on creating massive landscapes – not just to accommodate the huge scale of battle, but to elevate gameplay with destructible features, strategic depth, and nods to the rich 40K universe.
In this Environment Showcase, Art Director, Matt Kuzminski and Lead Environment Artist, Tristan Brett speak to the inspiration and design process behind these spectacular, deadly worlds that will form the foundation of Dawn of War III, and act as a canvas for a new era of endless war.
These environments include:
- Cyprus Ultima: Filled with details and history, Cyprus Ultima has a medieval style that expresses the war-ravaged way of life for people in the 41st millennium.
- Cage World: A true alien environment, Cage World’s ever-evolving landscape means the ground can literally shift beneath your feet, so you can never be sure where the battle will take you.
- Starfort: With massive structures towering over each battlefield, the scale of the weaponry on display in this gothic battle station is the ultimate in Imperium technology.
- Acheron: From first glance, where waves of lava clash against mountains of snow and ice, it’s clear that the elements aren’t all that’s at war on Acheron. Home to nothing but violence, the beautiful glaciers serve as frozen tombs for the battles of the past, and as the stage for some of the largest battles you’ll face in Dawn of War III.
To learn more about the worlds and characters in Dawn of War III, and to keep up with future updates, be sure to heard to DawnOfWar.com, and follow Dawn of War on social media.
