Arguably the biggest and most influential title of 2017 – Fortnite – is confirmed to be coming to the Switch today. Fans have been speculating about the game’s release after a possible leak on 4Chan, alongside claims by some dataminers to have found evidence for the title in the eShop’s latest update.
Fortnite, although at its core a single player PvE experience, features a free-to-play PvP Battle Royale style mode that has helped the game skyrocket into the public consciousness. In this mode, players (either in groups or by themselves) must survive an ever-shrinking map through the use of scavenged weaponry and crafting capabilities, in an effort to be the last one standing out of one hundred others.
